Come, Lord Jesus! is a program based on prayer, Scripture, Eucharist and community as in Acts 2:42. It evangelizes its members in small faith communities the way Jesus did. Members meet weekly to reflect upon and discuss the Sunday Scripture readings. They are led to a personal knowledge of Jesus as they fulfill the mission of the Come, Lord Jesus program which is to be transformed into the very image and likeness of Jesus Christ.
All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.” (2 Cor 3:18). The Come, Lord Jesus! Logo reflects this transformation. The woman in light is the Church, the Bride of Christ (Revelation 21: 2,9). With eyes and arms uplifted in eager longing for Jesus who refers to himself in Revelations 22:16 as the bright morning star, she is already beginning now to receive and to reflect the first rays of his resplendent glory. The Bride eagerly awaits the Wedding Day when Jesus, in the fullness of his divine splendor will return. Come, Lord Jesus was the cry and the hope of the early Church.
